I went through these six papers of UPSC Mains of 2025 (Essay, General Studies Paper 1, General Studies Paper 2, General Studies Paper 3, General Studies Paper 4, and Compulsory English Language Paper)  and mapped out how improved English proficiency by expanding your active English Vocabulary can improve your chances of acing these exams (if you are taking these exams in English):

The UPSC Essay paper demands multi-dimensionality (thinking from multiple perspectives),depth, nuance, and structural flow, where the right vocabulary enables you to articulate your thoughts with confidence and transform generic ideas into compelling arguments.
